Introduction

The 5th season of the walking dead is a horror drama series aired on television. The series was premiered in the month of October 2014 and comprised of 16 episodes in the walking dead season 5. The season 5 of the series started with the journey of survivors which was led by Rick Grimes, former sheriff’s deputy. The group is in search of the sanctuary, and this season shows all the new threats that are faced by the walkers and other human survivors.

The group of survivors with Rick were captured at the Terminus and were prisoned in a boxcar. They knew that the captors were engaged in the flesh-eating activities and they trap the survivors to transport to the city in order to satisfy the trend. Carol helps Rick and the group to escape wherein Rick and the group of survivors regroup with the lost Carol and Tyreese. Rick gets delighted to see his child Judith alive. They decided not to run behind the Gareth instead they thought of guiding Eugene to reach Washington DC.

Rick and the group found shelter in the church where Father Gabriel Stokes was occupied. Father was also tortured by the similar event and due to which he secured himself in the church and he decided not to help others who are also suffered and attacked by the walking dead season 5 devils outside. During their rescue in the church, Gareth’s force again reunited and planned attack against the survivors inside the church. Rick and others were succeeded in fighting off with Gareth but they lost Bob in the fight.

Rick tries to convince the survivors with him to support the church while waiting for the return of Carol and Daryl, but Abraham refused to wait and forced them to leave for DC. On the other hand, Glenn also supports Abraham, but Rick decides to wait. Tara and Maggie also joined Abraham.
